Adaptable input plugs

Through an IEC input the Bronson TI allows connecting a power cable with any type of input plug.

Power switch

All models from the TI series come with an ON/OFF switch.

The Power LED will light up green once the switch is turned into the ON position.

Input Voltage Selector

 To select the Input voltage, switch the red button on the Bronson TI's backside to 

                    •  the 230 position to have the converter operate in the step-down mode;

                    • the 115 position to have the converter operate in the step-up mode.

Overload protection

All the models are equipped with circuit breakers in case the converter gets overloaded from the connected appliance(s).

Smaller models (TI 200, TI 300 and TI 500) are equipped with a fine fuse whilst all others are built with a circuit breaker.

Safety notes

The Bronson TI series is designed to convert AC voltage. These converters do not convert DC voltage.

The Bronson TI series does not convert frequency (in Hertz) between 50Hz and 60Hz for most electrical appliances this doesn't pose a problem. Nevertheless we recommend checking with the manufacturer of your devices to ensure compatibility with both 50Hz and 60Hz power supply.

Screw terminal

The power supply must be directly connected to the screw terminal.

To run the Bronson WTI on its full capacity, the output must be connected directly to the screw terminal.

Power switch

All models from the WTI series come with two ON/OFF switches, one for 110V and another for 230V input.

By pushing the switch up, the input voltage will be defined: 

• the 230V switch will have the converter operate in step-down mode;

• the 110V switch will have the converter operate in step-up mode.
  

The power LED will light up green once one of the switches is turned into the ON position. 

Overload protection

All the models are equipped with circuit breakers in case the converter gets overloaded from the connected appliance(s).

Overheating protection

All models have a cooling fan to cool the converter’s core when overheating due to heavy load. They will automatically shut down at core temperatures above 130 °C.

Choosable input plugs

The Bronson HE-D can be bought with either a Schuko or a British plug.

The power LED will light up green once the switch is turned into the ON position.

The bigger VC models must connect the power supply to the screw terminal inlet and the output to the screw terminal outlet.

It's possible to connect the output via screw terminal outlet on the smaller VC models as well.

Safety note

When connecting the output to the screw terminal outlet, It's important to wire the grounding to the Bronson VC case.

Overload protection

All the models are equipped with a circuit breaker in case the voltage regulator gets overloaded from the connected appliance(s).

Automatic switch-on

The Bronson VC will automatically switch on when an inrush current is detected.

Delay/Undelay feature

The delay time is how long the voltage stabilizer will elapse before restarting the connected appliance after a power failure or an exceeding input voltage above 260V.

Undelay: the VRG will return power to the appliance 6 seconds after the input voltage returns to its working range.

Delay: the VRG will return power to the appliance 180 seconds after the input voltage returns to its working range.

All the models are equipped with a circuit breaker in case the voltage stabilizer gets overloaded from the connected appliance(s).

Smart cooling

The bigger VRG models will cool automatically when overheating.

Rated output current

Available for loads up to 30A or 50A.

European output sockets

Easily connect 230V appliances up to 16A.

Screw terminal

The power supply must be connected to the screw terminal.

For outputs above 16A, the electrical equipment must be connected to the screw terminal as well.

Overload protection

All the models are equipped with circuit breakers in case the soft starter gets overloaded from the connected appliance(s). When this happens the red LED will lighten up.

Automatic switch-on

The Bronson CL will automatically switch on and the green LED will lighten up when an inrush current is detected.

Mounting rails

The Bronson CL can be mounted on walls, in cabinets, or directly on machinery.

Status display

The LED display will show all relevant information of the BPS features.

When working in battery mode the display will indicate the total battery capacity left. The total run time of the battery bank will depend on its size, as well as the power requirements of the load.
