The toroidal transformer delivers up to 6000W peak and 4800W continuous over 15 minutes. Its 98% efficiency holds down heat loss — built for large ships, industrial plants and data centers.

110V or 230V input — galvanically isolated 230V

The MII 6000 takes 110V or 230V at the screw terminal and delivers galvanically isolated 230V. From a 110V supply it steps up; from 230V it runs one-to-one.

Output: Schuko F, UK Type G + screw terminal

The output offers Schuko Type F and UK Type G sockets plus a screw terminal for hardwiring. Each socket is individually protected at 15A/230V (up to 3450W per socket).

Does the Bronson MII 6000 pass an ISO/HV test?

Yes, the MII 6000's galvanic isolation withstands an ISO/HV test.

In the IEC 62477-1 report for the 500VA-8KVA range, the primary-to-secondary isolation passes the dielectric withstand test (reinforced insulation: 3000 V r.m.s. / 4200 V peak).

Is each MII 6000 socket individually fused?

Yes, each MII 6000 socket is individually protected at 15A / 230V.

Each socket supplies up to 3450W. A short at one outlet trips only that breaker instead of shutting down the whole unit.

Does the MII 6000 need an external soft-start?

Yes, we recommend an external soft-start (softstarter) for the MII 6000.

The 6000W toroidal core has no built-in inrush limiting. An upstream softstarter (for example a CL-type) tames the switch-on surge so the upstream fuse does not trip at power-up.

Is the MII 6000 suitable as an isolation transformer for large ships?

Yes, the MII 6000 works as a marine isolation transformer for large ships.

At shore power the galvanic isolation breaks the earth path between hull and dock and prevents galvanic corrosion. 4800W continuous supplies complete on-board systems.

Galvanic isolation for critical systems

Separate primary and secondary windings with no shared conductor make the output a standalone, floating 230V system. The isolation passes the dielectric withstand test to IEC 62477-1. In data centers, clinics and aboard large vessels this decouples the connected system from the feeding grid — no fault current carried through, and no galvanic corrosion at the hull.

Fan-cooled for continuous heavy load

A temperature-controlled fan switches in as the unit warms and carries the heat away. This keeps the toroidal core within a safe temperature range even at 4800W continuous over 15 minutes. The MII 6000 is built for sustained heavy-load operation in fixed installations — the fan runs only when needed rather than continuously.
