Bronson MII 8000 — Isolation Transformer 6400W

The toroidal transformer delivers up to 8000W peak and 6400W continuous over 15 minutes. Its 98% efficiency holds down heat loss — built for large ships, industrial plants and data centers.

110V or 230V input — galvanically isolated 230V

The MII 8000 takes 110V or 230V at the screw terminal and delivers galvanically isolated 230V. From a 110V supply it steps up; from 230V it runs one-to-one, with the output kept floating.

Each socket fused at 15A (up to 3450W)

Output runs to Schuko Type F and UK Type G sockets plus a screw terminal. Each socket is individually protected at 15A/230V, so a short at one outlet trips only that breaker.

Does the Bronson MII 8000 pass an ISO/HV test?

Yes, the MII 8000's galvanic isolation withstands an ISO/HV test.

The IEC 62477-1 report was produced on the 8KVA model: the primary-to-secondary isolation passes the dielectric withstand test (reinforced insulation: 3000 V r.m.s. / 4200 V peak).

Does the MII 8000 need an external soft-start?

Yes, we recommend an external soft-start (softstarter) for the MII 8000.

The 8000W toroidal core has no built-in inrush limiting. An upstream softstarter such as a CL50 tames the switch-on surge so the upstream fuse does not trip at power-up.

Can the MII 8000 be connected to different grids worldwide?

Yes, the MII 8000 works on both 110V and 230V supplies.

The input is wired at the terminal for the local voltage; the isolated 230V output runs to Schuko Type F or UK Type G sockets — practical for stage and trade-show equipment that travels between regions.

Multi-region output: Schuko F + UK G

The output provides Schuko Type F and UK Type G sockets plus a screw terminal. The input is wired at the terminal for 110V or 230V, and the output delivers galvanically isolated 230V. A trade-show booth traveling worldwide or a mobile installation uses the same unit on EU and UK connections — with a hardwired or plugged output and no adapter collection.
