Bidirectional 110V↔230V — Step-Up and step-down.

Select your local voltage on the input switch and the TI 800 converts both ways — 110V to 230V and back. It runs US devices in Europe and European devices on US power.

EU, UK and US Sockets — No travel adapter.

The front panel carries one EU Schuko, one UK Type G and one US Type B outlet. It connects devices from different regions directly, without a separate travel adapter.

Can I run a US power tool like a Festool sander on the TI 800?

Yes — US power tools up to about 420W continuous run on the TI 800 (640W continuous).

For motor tools, watch the start-up draw: together with the tool's rated wattage it should stay within the 800W maximum. A 400W-class Festool sander fits comfortably.

Do I have to replace a fuse if the TI 800 trips under overload?

No — the TI 800 has a resettable circuit breaker, not a replaceable fuse.

Under overload the breaker trips mechanically. Once the cause is cleared, reset it by hand — no spare part and no workshop visit.

Is the TI 800 quiet enough to run in a living room?

Yes — under normal load the TI 800's toroidal core runs without audible hum.

At typical load it stays cool and needs no extra ventilation when placed in the open. In a quiet room a faint buzz can be noticeable at full load, but a little distance from the listening spot masks it.

Is the TI 800 suitable for classic US synthesizers?

Yes — the toroidal core delivers a clean sine wave that sensitive synthesizers expect.

Classic US synths are built for 120V; the TI 800 supplies the right voltage. The clean sine wave keeps hum out of the signal chain — important for studio and stage gear.
