Will it run quietly on a kitchen counter or music studio?

Yes. The ring-core transformer design runs without audible hum under normal load — multiple buyers specifically note the absence of noise as a reason they chose Bronson over cheaper alternatives. It stays cool at typical loads and does not require ventilation clearance beyond keeping it in open air.

The input selector has two positions — how do I know which one to use?

Set the input to match the voltage coming out of your wall socket. In Germany and most of Europe that is 230V. In the US, Canada, and Japan it is 110–120V. Setting it to the wrong position first is the most common mistake — always check before switching on.

Toroidal-Core Construction, 98% Efficiency

Inside the TI 800 is a toroidal transformer core — copper windings wrapped around a closed magnetic ring. The topology reduces stray losses and keeps mechanical hum low under load, with measured efficiency at 98%.

The output remains a stable sine wave suitable for audio equipment, laboratory instruments, motors, and other waveform-sensitive devices. Under continuous operation, the enclosure also runs cooler than many conventional transformer designs of similar size.

Resettable breaker, no fuse swapping.

Overload protection is handled by a resettable circuit breaker mounted directly on the unit rather than a replaceable glass fuse. If the load exceeds the rated limit, the breaker trips mechanically and can be reset by hand once the fault condition is cleared.

No fuse replacement, service visit, or enclosure disassembly is required. For temporary overloads or startup surges from high-inrush appliances, the unit can be returned to operation immediately after reset.
