The TI 300 can run devices up to 240W continuously, with extra headroom for short startup peaks. It is suitable for televisions, retro gaming set ups, and other everyday 110V or 230V devices within the rated range.

I want to run a US Fender amplifier in Europe permanently. Will the TI 300 handle that?

The TI 300 is rated for continuous use. It can power a connected device indefinitely without rest periods.

Its toroidal core runs cooler under sustained load than conventional E-I core designs, making it appropriate for a television or media setup that runs for hours at a time.

Can I run my US television and soundbar on the TI 300 in Europe?

Yes — most US flat-panel televisions draw 100–200W, and a soundbar typically adds another 30–60W. A combined load of up to 200W runs comfortably within the TI 300's 240W continuous rating.

Check the wattage label on the back of each device and add them together; if the total is below 160W you have comfortable headroom, and up to 200W is still fine. For setups with a television, soundbar, and an additional device such as a games console or Blu-ray player running simultaneously, the TI 500 provides more headroom.

I collect retro games and like to play on a CRT monitor — do I need a converter ?

If your console and monitor are US or Japanese models, yes. Original US consoles (SNES, N64, Sega Genesis) use 120V power adapters that won't run in Europe without a converter. CRT monitors and televisions sourced from the US are also 120V and will require a voltage converter to use in Europe.

Can the TI 300 be used in both the US and Europe?

Yes — the TI 300 is fully bidirectional. Set the input switch to 110V and it steps up to 230V output, so European devices run normally on US power, and switch to 230V input and the US devices run normally on European power. The same continuous wattage limit applies in both directions.

Toroidal-Core Construction, 98% Efficiency

Inside the TI 300 is a toroidal transformer core — copper windings wrapped around a closed magnetic ring. The topology reduces stray losses and keeps mechanical hum low under load, with measured efficiency at 98%.

The output remains a stable sine wave suitable for audio equipment, laboratory instruments, motors, and other waveform-sensitive devices. Under continuous operation, the enclosure also runs cooler than many conventional transformer designs of similar size.

Resettable breaker, no fuse swapping.

Overload protection is handled by a resettable circuit breaker mounted directly on the unit rather than a replaceable glass fuse. If the load exceeds the rated limit, the breaker trips mechanically and can be reset by hand once the fault condition is cleared.

No fuse replacement, service visit, or enclosure disassembly is required. For temporary overloads or startup surges from high-inrush appliances, the unit can be returned to operation immediately after reset.
