Bronson TI 3000 — Voltage Transformer 110V↔︎230V

The TI 3000 delivers 3000W maximum power for up to 15 minutes and 2400W continuously. It suits table saws, compressors, pro kitchen equipment and studio setups.

Bidirectional 110V↔︎230V — Step-up and step-down.

Select your local voltage on the input switch and the TI 3000 converts both ways — 110V to 230V and back. It runs US devices in Europe and European devices on US power.

Frequently asked questions

Does the TI 3000 also convert the line frequency, e.g. for a US motor or saw?

No — the TI 3000 converts voltage only, not frequency.

Universal motors in tools run normally; only line-synchronous motors run slightly faster or slower. The line frequency (50 or 60 Hz) stays unchanged.

Can I run two US devices on the TI 3000 at the same time?

Yes — the TI 3000 has two US outlets; keep the combined load under 2400W continuous.

A coffee grinder and coffee machine, or a studio setup, can share the two US sockets as long as the total stays within the rating.

Is the Bronson TI 3000 galvanically isolated?

No — the TI 3000 is an autotransformer (step-up/step-down) without galvanic isolation.

Primary and secondary share a winding. For isolated bench or measurement setups, the MII or TT line is built for that.

My device draws about 2400W continuously — will the TI 3000 shut off after 15 minutes?

No — 2400W is the TI 3000's continuous rating, so it runs at 2400W indefinitely.

The 3000W figure is the maximum for up to 15 minutes. Above 2400W sustained the breaker trips; overheat protection adds a second safety net.

Automatic Polarity Correction

The TI 3000 corrects polarity automatically — live (L) and neutral (N) always sit correctly at the output, regardless of how the Schuko plug is inserted. Simple converters don't do this; it matters for US audio, vintage gear and instruments that expect a defined polarity.

Soft-Start and Overheat Protection

The TI 3000 limits inrush current with a soft-start circuit and monitors temperature with automatic shut-off. Motors and compressors start without tripping; if the temperature runs too high, the unit shuts down before damage occurs.
