Can I set the output voltage to 220 V?

No — the output is fixed at 230 V (±8 %) and cannot be set manually.

220 V falls within the tolerance band; the unit regulates automatically to around 230 V. There is no user setting for the target voltage.

Is the VRG suitable for running on a generator?

No — the VRG 1000 is designed for slow line-voltage variations, not for generators.

Generators produce short voltage spikes and frequency jumps that a relay-based stabilizer does not smooth out. For stable grid or shore-power supply the unit is well suited.

Switch-on delay 180 s / 6 s

The VRG 1000 connects the load either with a 180-second delay or without delay after 6 seconds. The delay engages after a grid disturbance, before the output voltage is released again. For refrigeration and compressor loads this prevents an immediate restart right after a voltage event, holding a controlled pause that protects the compressor from damage caused by rapid cycling.

±8 % regulation via relay control

Relay-driven step regulation corrects the input voltage in fixed switching stages and holds the output at 230 V within ±8 %. The regulation range covers input voltages from 140 to 260 V. Sensitive electronics such as routers, TVs, or computer equipment receive a predictable supply, even when the local line voltage swings through the day or sits persistently low.
