The Variac delivers up to 3000 W at 12 A — for larger test setups, service environments, and higher-draw loads in workshop use.

230 V input, 0–300 V stepless output

From a 220–240 V line, the adjustable voltage regulator sets the output steplessly from 0 to 300 V — for controlled ramp-up and function tests below and above nominal.

Schuko output and screw terminal (EU/UK)

Input and output are Schuko Type F; the output also offers a screw terminal rated to 12 A. For quick swaps of test objects or fixed wiring; plug type EU or UK.

Does the VC 3000 show the set output voltage accurately?

Yes. The backlit display lights up when voltage is present and shows the set value accurately.

This lets you dial in and read the target test voltage on the control knob — useful for calibration and repeat test runs.

How do the VC 3000 and VC 1000 differ?

The VC 3000 delivers 3000 W at 12 A, the VC 1000 1000 W at 4 A.

Because the output current is fixed-limited, current is what counts at low voltage: at 100 V that's up to 1200 W (12 A) on the VC 3000, but only 400 W (4 A) on the VC 1000. Full rated power is available only near the top of the voltage range.

A large, grippy control dial on the front sets the output voltage steplessly across the full 0 to 300 V range. It lets you hit the target voltage precisely and finely — even when readjusting repeatedly at the bench during ongoing tests.

Toroidal core with copper winding

The VC 3000 runs on a toroidal core with copper winding, sized for 3000 W at 12 A. The design holds efficiency at ≥ 90 % and keeps loss heat low under load — even during longer test cycles at the bench.
