8000W Converter, 6400W Continuous Power

The WTI 8000 delivers 6400 watts continuous and up to 8000 watts maximum. It powers large device classes such as CNC machines, industrial compressors and welders on 110V or 230V.

Bidirectional 110V↔︎230V, Pure Sine Wave

The converter works both ways: 110 volts to 230 volts and 230 volts to 110 volts. The pure sine wave feeds voltage-sensitive electronics without distortion.

Schuko, UK Type G, US Type B + Terminal

The outputs provide Schuko (Type F), UK Type G and US Type B. Input and output have screw terminals for permanent wiring into installations.

Frequently asked questions

Does the WTI 8000 need a separate soft-start?

Yes. The WTI 8000 has no built-in soft-start; the Bronson CL series limits inrush current.

At switch-on the 8 kW toroidal draws high current briefly. The separate soft-start keeps the upstream breaker from tripping.

Does the WTI 8000 suit a 32 A upstream circuit?

Yes. The WTI 8000 is designed for a 32 A upstream circuit on the 230V side.

Its built-in breaker is 32 A at 230V and 63 A at 110V. The WTI 10000, by contrast, would need 40 A.

Can I run several heavy power tools on the WTI 8000 at once?

Yes. As long as the total stays under 6400 watts continuous, the WTI 8000 powers several heavy US tools at once.

Each outlet is limited to 1650 W (110V) or 3450 W (230V); limit large-motor inrush with the CL series.

Is the WTI 8000 hardwired through the screw terminal?

Yes. Input and output have screw terminals for permanent wiring into the installation.

Schuko, UK and US sockets are also provided. The input is not a plug connection.

6400 W Continuous, Stated Separately

The WTI 8000 states 8000 W maximum and 6400 W continuous (>15 min) separately — the continuous figure is not derived from a peak. You size plant load straight against 6400 W, with no headroom to subtract from a short-term peak.

Resettable Circuit Breaker, 63/32 A

The WTI 8000 has an integrated circuit breaker rated 63 A at 110 V and 32 A at 230 V. On overload it trips and resets after the fault — no fuse to change, and it matches a 32 A upstream circuit.
