The WTI 5000 delivers 4000 watts continuous and up to 5000 watts maximum. It powers several device classes at once — power tools, air conditioners and larger RV equipment on 110V or 230V.

Bidirectional 110V↔230V, Pure Sine Wave

The converter works both ways: 110 volts to 230 volts and 230 volts to 110 volts. The pure sine wave feeds voltage-sensitive electronics without distortion.

Schuko, UK Type G, US Type B + Terminal

The outputs provide Schuko (Type F), UK Type G and US Type B. Input and output also feature screw terminals for permanent hardwiring.

Frequently asked questions

Is a 16 A upstream breaker enough for the WTI 5000?

No. A 16 A upstream breaker is not enough for full load — the 230V side has a 20 A circuit breaker.

For 4000 W continuous (≈ 17.4 A at 230 V) provide at least 20 A, better 25 A, on the building circuit. On 16 A the WTI 5000 runs at reduced load only.

Is the WTI 5000 designed for upright operation?

Yes. The WTI 5000 is built for upright wall-mounting, where ventilation is best.

Keep clear airspace around the enclosure. An overheat cut-off shuts the unit down above 130 °C core temperature.

Do I have to replace a blown fuse on the WTI 5000?

No. The WTI 5000 has a circuit breaker (40 A at 110 V, 20 A at 230 V) that you simply reset after it trips.

There is no fuse to change. If it trips repeatedly the load is too high — check it against the 4000 W continuous rating.

Can the WTI 5000 be transported?

Yes. The WTI 5000 has proper carry handles and feet for moving it and standing it securely.

At 14 kg it is on the unwieldy side, and the screw-terminal connection makes quick reconnection less convenient — it is built for fixed installation.
