2. Data Protection Officer We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as we are not legally required to do so.

3. General Information on Data Processing We process personal data only where necessary to provide the website, handle enquiries, perform contracts (online shop), or based on your consent. Legal bases include in particular: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent), e.g. marketing/tracking; Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract / pre-contractual steps), e.g. orders, delivery and payments; Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (legal obligation), e.g. retention duties; Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests), e.g. website security, stability and fraud prevention.

4. Data Retention We store personal data only as long as required for the relevant purpose or as required by law. Data is then deleted or anonymised.

5. Your Rights You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing, subject to legal requirements. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

6. Hosting and Website Operation via Odoo Online Our website is operated using Odoo Online (software-as-a-service). When you visit our website, technically necessary data is processed to provide the site securely and reliably; this may include your IP address, access time, requested pages, browser and device information, and technical log data. Purpose: website delivery, security, troubleshooting. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Deletion: server log data is deleted no later than 7 days after collection.

7. Cookies, Consent Banner and Preferences This website uses cookies and similar technologies (e.g. scripts, tags, pixels). Cookies are small text files stored on your device to enable certain functions. We generally distinguish between session cookies (automatically deleted when you close your browser, e.g. cart/session) and persistent cookies (stored for a defined period, e.g. to remember settings). 9. Google Tag Manager We use Google Tag Manager to centrally manage website tags and integrate other services. Tag Manager itself usually does not create user profiles, but it may connect to Google servers and process technical data (e.g. IP address). Purpose: tag management and technical integration. 10. Google Analytics We use Google Analytics to analyse how our website is used and to improve our website. Google Ads / DoubleClick (Marketing, Conversion Tracking) We use Google Ads and related technologies (e.g. DoubleClick) to deliver ads and measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns (conversion tracking). 12. Plausible Analytics We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly, cookieless web analytics tool, to statistically analyse the usage of our website. Plausible does not use cookies and does not process data that allows you to be personally identified; all data is aggregated and anonymised. As this processing is part of the technically functional, privacy-preserving operation of our website, it is not subject to consent. 13. Google Maps We use Google Maps to provide interactive maps. When the map is loaded, a connection to Google servers may be established and your IP address may be processed. Purpose: map display. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

14. Contact Requests (Email / Form) If you contact us, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, email address, message) in order to respond to your request. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

14a. Bot Protection (Cloudflare Turnstile) To protect our forms (e.g. contact and checkout forms) against automated access, spam and abuse, we use Cloudflare Turnstile, a service provided by Cloudflare, Inc. (USA). Turnstile does not use cookies and is designed for data minimisation. When you interact with a protected form, technical information (in particular your IP address and browser/device signals) is transmitted to Cloudflare and evaluated to distinguish human users from automated requests. Purpose: protection against spam and automated misuse, website security. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in securing our forms). 15. Online Shop, Orders and Customer Account (Odoo) If you place an order or use a customer account, we process personal data required to perform the contract; this includes in particular your name, billing and shipping address, contact details, order data, shipping information, and payment status information. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR and Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR. You may request deletion of your customer account at any time by contacting info@bronson-energy.com.

15a. Online Withdrawal (Withdrawal Function pursuant to Section 356a BGB) Where we provide an electronic withdrawal function, we process the data you enter (your name, details identifying the relevant contract, and the electronic means of communication you specify for the confirmation of receipt) in order to process your withdrawal and to confirm its receipt and the time of receipt to you on a durable medium. Purpose: handling and documentation of withdrawal declarations. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract performance) and Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (legal obligation under Section 356a BGB).

16. Payments (Bank Transfer, Stripe and PayPal) We offer bank transfer, Stripe and PayPal for payment processing. For payments via Stripe or PayPal, the data required to process the payment is transferred to the relevant provider; depending on the transaction, these providers may also process data for fraud prevention, security and compliance purposes. Purpose: payment processing, fraud prevention and security. Shipping (DHL and DB Schenker) For delivery, we transfer the required data (name, address) to our shipping providers; to carry out delivery and provide shipment information, we may also transfer your email address and/or phone number to the shipping provider. Shipping providers are DHL and DB Schenker (freight forwarding). Purpose: shipment, delivery and shipment information. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. 18. Newsletter (Odoo) If you subscribe to our newsletter, we process your email address to send you updates; you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in each email. Purpose: newsletter delivery. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

19. International Data Transfers (in particular the USA) When using certain services (especially Google, Stripe, PayPal and Cloudflare), processing of personal data in the USA cannot be ruled out. Where providers are certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (DPF), transfers are based on an adequacy decision pursuant to Art. 45 GDPR; otherwise, transfers are carried out using appropriate safeguards, in particular the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
